For Tactical Pistol 2 and -3 scroll down the page This is a whole day class,  from 9:00am to 5:00/6:00pm. The Tactical 1 class is designed to give you the fundamentals of tactical pistol shooting. We have rental gear available  (Includes: 9 mm pistol, holster, magazine holder and 2 magazines) for $25 whole day. (No partial rentals available, only complete gear including pistol, etc.)  Please let us know as soon as you sign up, since there is limited availability.  Remember to bring your own sturdy belt! Don't think you are ready for a tactical class? This course is designed to introduce you to the very basics of tactical shooting, so even if you have very little (though some is recommended!) prior shooting experience, our instructors and staff will give you individual support and instruction. We get many students that have almost no prior experience with firearms, and very often they outperform the more experienced participants! Since we recommend a basic knowledge of handguns prior to this class, an idea for the very beginner is to participate in one of our weekly CWP Classes. (Even if you don't wish to apply for/already have a Concealed Weapons Permit License.) In this class you will learn the basics of pistol shooting; grip, stance, trigger pull techniques, clearing malfunctions, etc. And you will get to fire a few shots with an instructor. Tactical Pistol 2 Next Class:    Sept 21st 2013                                                   Price: $195 Time to take it to the next level! In Tactical Pistol 2 we will be shooting plenty of real-life simulations of self-defense scenarios, do incapacitation drills, and learn to shoot from retention. There will also be shooting from the kneeling, the prone and the push-down position, so we recommend bringing kneepads and ground cover (towel or small rug). Rental gear and firearms available for $25. If you are bringing your own firearm, you will need: * A rigid holster that covers the trigger guard * Minimum 2 magazines (3 is recommended, especially if they are low capacity) * Magazine pouch/holder * A sturdy belt * Eye and ear protection * Sunscreen (!!!) * Mosquito repellent. Tactical Pistol 3 Next Class:  May 4th 2013                                                   Price: $195 Tactical Pistol 1 and 2 is mandetory before signing up for the Tactical Pistol 3. The student has to reach a certain skill level before signing up for the Tactical Pistol 3. This class is FREE for all Ladies! (* One class only. Miami Firearms Training's Tactical Pistol 1 and -2 Class is mandatory prior to participation. ) The student has to reach a certain skill level before coming to this class. This class is for the more advanced student that has already taken Tactical 1 and Tactical 2. Class starts at noon, since we will have a DIM LIGHT/NIGHT SHOOT. After reviewing what we learned in Tactical 1 and -2, we will be stressing cover, concealment, and incapacitation drills in field courses that take the shooter through scenarios, including moving targets, shooting from unusual positions such as prone, side-prone push-down and the supine position. The shooter will also do room-clearings in teams through a small "shoot-house." Bring: * A rigid holster that covers the trigger guard * Minimum 2 magazines (3 is recommended, especially if they are low capacity) * Magazine pouch/holder *Small hand held flashlight for the night shoot *A sturdy belt * Eye and ear protection Clothing should be comfortable; pants, t-shirt or polo, boots or sneakers, ball cap, sunglasses.  Optional: *Kneepads  * Towel/blanket/rug for the prone position * Sunscreen (!!!)* Mosquito repellent. * Light lunch + snacks  We will provide cold beverages!
